rims Horse Riding commenced around the mid
70's when Director René Trim a dedicated lover of horses
acquired a small and simple range of horses and implemented horse
riding as a family recreation. At that time the family resided
next to the mile long plus white sand Vigie
beach.
The family suffered no trepidation in becoming expert riders and equestrian professionals and very soon were the interest of persons who wanted an opportunity to explore the exciting pleasure and
challenges of horse-back riding. To add to this, St. Lucia was
just into her pioneer stages of the tourism industry and this
yielded participation from visiting guests who yearned for
refreshing and exhilerating rides across a pristine North-West
coast.
Such was the demand
for equestrian sport with the development of the Tourist
industry, that it propelled René Trim and his family to
relocate their now thriving business to a scenic and more
conducive location purchased for the purpose of extending their
trade.

The location, situated in close proximity to the North-East coast offered enhancements to the product offered; a variety of excellent riding trails, a fragrant, refreshing, and
verdant outdoor environment, enjoyable outdoor adventures
including sea-bathing and sumptuous beach picnics. More so it is
the ideal backdrop for recreational activities aimed at
developing school children into the realm of equestrian
sports.
Trims Horse Riding Stables continues to operate from
this location, with business coming from holiday resorts, cruise
Liners, schools and the public at large. Also in his bid to
create more innovative additions, René Trim is gearing to
facilitate his operations with some new activities slated for the
year 2001. Keep posted for upcoming news.
